By the mid 23rd century there were thriving colonies at Midgard (Alpha Centauri), Elysium (Tau Ceti), Cybele (Eta Cassiopei) and Esperance (DM+56 2966). The colony at Delta Pavonis was struggling. Some colony vessels were still in transit.
