This website is an adjunct to the Culture mailing list. It contains details of how to join the list, what to expect if you join it and will act as an archive of thoughts on the themes Banks brings up in his novels. As this covers just about everything, the list and this site do not confine themselves to purely 'on-topic' matters. Just as well, really.

The left link below leads to a low-bandwidth, no-frames part of the site. The right link leds to an area with more graphics, frames, HTML 4 tags and so on. Both areas contain an FAQ which refers solely to the mailing list. An FAQ on the Culture is in the works..
