It requires approximately 100 QIPS to run a human-level intelligence in realtime, but considerably more than this is required to construct a virtual environment for the copy to inhabit. For a full body simulation and realistic virtual environment about 1000 QIPS is needed (with a large variation dependant on the detail of the simulation and the size of the environment).
